Sales Manager for Acadiana Profile Magazine, Louisiana Life Magazine and digital.
Rebecca Taylor has had many achievements in her life. Going to school for court reporting, she later found her passion for sales. She began as an account executive at the Daily Advertiser before advancing as the Retail Sales Manager. She was an account executive for Acadiana Profile Magazine and is now the Sales Manager for print and digital. In 2020, she was also given the role of Sales Manager for the Louisiana Life Magazine. Both magazines have won many national awards, including Magazine of the Year. Over 20 years in the print, digital, and media business Rebecca has won many prizes and sales contests.
She has accomplished so much while also raising two children and being a wife for 25 years. Title of working mother, wife, cook, volunteer, and homeowner has not slowed her down. She has been on the Connections board since 2015 and was acting President for the 2017-2018 and 2019-2020 years. Rebecca also is a committee member for the Acadiana Symphony Women’s League. Previously, on the Junior League advisory board & and also Second Harvest advisory Board. Currently for 2021 Rebecca is in the Louisiana Tourism Leadership Class for LTA. She is a member of many organizations, such as, the Lafayette Women’s Chamber, International Regional Magazine Association, One Acadiana, AHBA, and the Louisiana Convention Visitors Commission.
Tennis is a favorite past time for Rebecca. She regularly plays at Red Lerille’s gym. She also enjoys traveling. Her most recent trip being in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Rebecca loves to paint and create artwork. Some of her favorite mediums being acrylic on canvas.
The pandemic has not been easy on anyone, but Rebecca Taylor has persevered and made many changes to keep the high standard of service up for her clients. Rebecca strives to see businesses grow and helps make their mark in the Acadiana area and throughout the State. Some of her goals are to have local businesses become the best they can be and expand to a variety of clients through the magazine and digital. She has a passion for business and the communicative skill to prove it. This year she is the recipient of the 2020 Connections Career Achievement Award.
