June 2026 - Mary Hays - Geaux Run

Mary Hays, owner of Geaux Run by Fleet Feet in Lafayette’s Oil Center, is a lifelong Acadiana resident, philanthropist, and passionate advocate for healthy living and community involvement. A graduate of Our Lady of Fatima and the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Mary is a former owner and manager of Teche Electric Supply and has traveled extensively around the world, including several years spent in West Africa.

An accomplished athlete and former Harley rider with more than 200,000 miles traveled across the United States, Mary has participated in numerous races and triathlons, including a full Ironman competition. Through her experiences, she has developed a deep appreciation for helping others and continually encourages people to “just keep moving.” When she’s not supporting charitable causes or inspiring others through fitness, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
