January 2015 - June Brillhart, Senior Tax Accountant with Postlethwaite & Netterville

Upon graduating from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1976, June joined SOLOCO, an oilfield service company owned by Newpark Resources, as a staff accountant. At that time, the oil industry was booming. She rose throughout the company ranks to the position of Controller, holding that position until she transferred to Newpark's manufacturing division in 2005 as Controller and Office Manager of their plant in Vatican, La.

In 2008, Newpark restructured, moving all of their accounting services to Houston. Deciding to stay in Lafayette and after weathering the ups and downs of the oil industry for many years, she made a profession career move to public accounting. She went to work for a local CPA firm that merged with Postlethwaite & Netterville in January, 2009. Today, she holds the position of Senior Tax Accountant with P&N, specializing in all areas of tax return preparation and general ledger accounting and working with non-profit organizations.
