February 2020 - Dr. Arti Singh, Cardiologist

Dr. Arti Singh serves as a cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South in the Lafayette region. She specializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging, women's health and preventative cardiology.

Dr. Singh earned her doctorate at Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles. She earned a bachelor' degree in computer science at Loyola University Chicago, and also holds a master's degree in distributed systems from DePaul University in Chicago. She worked as an engineer in the avionics and biomedical device industry prior to her career in medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Bridgeport Hospital-Yale New Haven Health System in Connecticut and her cardiovascular disease fellowship at Beaumont Health in Michigan.

Dr. Singh is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography and peripheral vascular ultrasound interpretation. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Women's Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Medical Association. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals, abstracts and research publications.

Dr. Singh treats a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions and has a special interest in women's health and preventative cardiology. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
