Debra was first introduced to computers and technology early in life during high school after a pioneering female Math teacher taught a computer programming class. This paved the way pursuing a college degree in Computer Science at one of the best Computer departments in the country which is just down the road from us. After graduation, an Information Technology (IT) Operational career began with positions ranging from software developer, systems administrator, network engineer to IT Management spanning 20+ years. The last 9 years were spent as an IT Audit Manager servicing the Oilfield Service and Healthcare industries and obtaining a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designations. In 2014, an employed career ended and a new company was formed, Billeaud Technology providing IT Auditing and Testing, Business Process Assessment, and IT Project Management services to both Private and Public companies. The Healthcare industry is supported with regulatory compliance assistance and consulting of Meaningful Use, HIPAA Privacy and Security and ICD-10.
