Dawna’s diverse experiences bring an innovative approach to her role as GM/CEO of the exclusive LeTriomphe Golf and Country Club. With a background steeped in business strategy and business development, Dawna has led the LeTriomphe team to achieve steady successes including a partnership with US Kids Golf® for the LeTriomphe Golf Academy; the first partnership of its kind in the United States, paved the way for the LeTriomphe Golf Academy to be recognized as a 2017 Golf Digest’s Top 100 Clubfitters facility, and is responsible the creation and development of a pizzeria concept, LA Pizza Mia®, which recently added an entertainment venue called “Sidekicks.”

In addition to her leadership role at LeTriomphe, Dawna was an adjunct instructor of Marketing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette until 2021. During her time at the University, Dawna had been selected for assignments that included: an instructor of International Wine and Champagne marketing in Paris, France and was later selected to lecture at the Universitaire Leonard De Vinci in Paris, France on Strategies for Innovation. Prior to joining Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club, Dawna engaged in product development in the financial technology sector and created a first to market product for consumers who were not able to engage in traditional banking. The product was ultimately acquired by an international non-traditional financial group. 

Dawna recently said, “as long as I can remember I’ve always loved business! I was the kid with the lemonade stand. Also, later in my career and through my 13 years as an adjunct instructor at ULL, I realized I also had a passion for “coaching” others in business and leading  teams to achieve things they thought were not possible.” Dawna holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Masters of Business Administration from the B.I. Moody College of Business at ULL.  Dawna serves on the Broussard Chamber of Commerce Board and  serves as Chairman of the Board for 1 st Clubs for Kids Foundation.
