About Teresa Robertson

Teresa Robertson, program director of Escape From Poverty. She is the proud single mother of 4 beautiful children. Teresa credits her children as one of the motivators for her to go after her dream of a college education after having children and getting a divorce at such a young age. Teresa has a bachelor of science from the University of Lafayette. She has dedicated her life to helping others, especially those who grew up in a community or family that lack resources. Teresa remembers the hard road it was to gain knowledge and skills when there was so little available. She hopes to continue to be a bridge between having and have nots in order to produce a better community and world.
