2023 October - Nanette Heggie - Heggie Investment Partners

Nanette is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of the UL Lafayette. Nanette has a passion for community service. She was a founding board member of Rebuilding Together Acadiana, past president of the Rotary club of Lafayette and Connections. Nanette currently serves on the Acadiana Center for the Arts and Connections board, and previously served on the boards of the Women’s Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scouts, Friends of the Humanities, Acadiana Outreach Center, Ascension Church Women, Leadership Lafayette, and others. 

Nanette Soileau Heggie is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with over 29 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, and 6 years of experience as an IRS Tax Auditor. Nanette is the owner and branch manager of Heggie Investment Partners, an all-woman financial planning and investment firm that offers securities through Raymond James Financial Services. 

She and her team help clients to clarify their goals and financial status, and work with them to manage their investments, risks, liabilities, cash flow, and exposure to taxes. She has experience dealing with business sales, and higher-level estate planning. Nanette specializes in helping people prepare for, and transition into retirement through strategic financial and retirement income planning. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Nanette cherishes quality time with her husband Joe, and rescue dogs, Cookie and Dude. She enjoys food, music, and traveling, especially to visit her son, Baxter. Nanette’s mission in life is to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
